Certain conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. These terms designate either types of piston rings or certain characteristics and phenomena of piston rings.
They may also be used for piston rings of compressors working under analogous conditions. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document including any amendments applies. Every care has been taken to ensure that the file is suitable for use by ISO member bodies.
